About Money

Like your organization, we do need some money to operate our 501(c)3 organization. The good news is, its not much.

Please plan to cover the following expenses:

• Provide or reimburse for accommodation (for one)
  
• Reimburse for Transportation costs to your location
  

• Your small budget will not prevent us from working together. We will agree upon an affordable stipend ($250 -> $750)

Julie McElmurry has a long history as a  supporter of Catholic Volunteer Network member programs.

Following a fruitful year serving in a Catholic Volunteer Network member program, she served for 11 years  with Franciscan friars as a Catholic Campus Minister, distributing hundreds of copies of RESPONSE and encouraging dozens of students to commit to a year of service.  She served on a panel, co-presented on volunteer formation with Bro. Lake Herman (Director of a Cap Corps program) and co-founded WFU's "Enjoy the Gap Fair" for volunteer programs.

She enjoys speaking with current volunteers about their options including graduate studies (she obtained graduate degrees from  Fordham University and at the Franciscan Institute), travel (she has been to 20+ countries as an independent traveler) and professional ministry (after eleven years as a Diocesan campus minister, she founded Franciscan Passages). Julie loves CVN programs!
